Technical Reports

Technical Report I : Structural Concepts & Existing Conditions
Assignment Requirements
This report summaries the existing structural conditions of 360 State Street. An analysis of the wind, seismic, and snow loads was completed in order to investigate the appropriateness of the gravity systems.

Technical Report II : Pro-Con Study of Alternate Floor Systems
Assignment Requirements
The intent of this report is to research, analyze, and compare three alternative floor systems. The pros and cons will be weighed against the existing system. One system will be recommended for further investigation as a viable alternative design.

Technical Report III : Lateral System Analysis & Confirmation Design
Assignment Requirements
An investigation was completed on the lateral systems of 360 State Street. Two frames were the focus of a two-dimensional analysis completed with hand calculations and a computer generated model. The report discusses the effect of lateral forces and concludes with a design confirmation.
